I know I'm a little early but for those like me who seem to only know about the tax free weekend once it gets there then here is info for MO consumers. This helps me plan and see if i should wait to get things then or if i can get them cheaper before and to check sales ad's for that weekend. Looks like It will start at midnight on Friday Aug. 5th and run through Sunday Aug. 7th. The items that will be exempt are as follows:
- Clothing – any article having a taxable value of $100 or less
- School supplies – not to exceed $50 per purchase
- Computer software – taxable value of $350 or less
- Personal computers – not to exceed $3,500
- Computer peripheral devices – not to exceed $3,500
